About the Author
So, let´s learn something about me , if you´re so inclined (but it´s pretty boring, so I´m not too sure why you´d be so inclined).
I got into photography at an early stage in life, and my photographs have been going downhill ever since. With a little cheap plastic “point and shoot” rangefinder I shot mostly black and white film, mostly developed at home. And mostly hand-rolled rolls too.
In summer of 1992 I got a “used” SRL, a Canon T60 with a 50mm f/1.8 lens (yes, this was back in the FD mount days). An it was also that summer that I started to get into panoramic photography.
After that, also in summer but in 2003, I got a little Nikon Coolpix 3100 which turned out to be a little POS compared with the previous series from Nikon. A year later I went back to the SLR world with a Canon EOS 300D kit (body, EFS 18-55mm, battery grip and extra battery). Two years and a half after that I bought a Canon EOS 30D body. And just short of three years after the 30D came the 5D Mark II.
I know the 5D breaks the trend, but Canon is not coming up with the EOS 3D anytime soon.
Outside of photography I´ve been mostly involved with graphic design and internet related stuff most of the time, with special interest and experience in HTML and CSS areas (with emphasis on usability and accessibility). I also have experience in video editing and post-production, having co-edited two full-length feature films.

The photos: Copyright & Permissions
All images on this site written or made by me, unless otherwise stated, are copyrighted.
What does this “copyright” thingie mean? Not what you think. And not what the Big Brands mean by it, either. It does not mean that I completely, absolutely and positively prohibit you or anybody else from using or republishing my works. It simply means that by default, you can´t.
What it does mean is that you need explicit, written consent to use any of my works.
So, go ahead and ask, it not that hard and chances are on your side that I will say “sure, go ahead and use that image” in an explicit, written form.
Why is this? Why not go with a Creative Commons license? Simple, Most people confuse CC with a free lunch; and none of the CC flavors really suit my fancy, so copyright it is. On top of that, I want to know where, if anywhere, my works are shown*. This is also something you don´t get often with CC, as most people tend to grab the works without so much as a message to where it´s going to be displayed.
This is also the reason why I brand the images I publish: too often I´ve found them in other sites or even hotlinked elsewhere. And some leeches actually had the nerve to complain to me when I changed my images on my server.
As usual, it´s numbnuts like these that ruin it for everybody.
So, what if you fail to follow the simple “ask first” step? I will track you down and byte you in the ass. For starters.
